Suomi Vs Tre Kronor!!

Time flies by. I just got back from a hair dresser and I gotta say that for the first time in my life I m not hating my haircut. So I had to travel all the way to Australia and after 18 years memorable, not fully satisfying haircuts I got a cut that is "alright".

Anyway.

Uni has kept me pretty busy for the past month. Amazingly sore bum and lots of hours spent on the sofa, searching for academic articles and writing academical stuff about the academical side of marketing. I have to take a picture of this sofa before we move out (hopefully soon), because there actually is a low point where I have sat while writing assignments.

Besides Uni I did a little travelling! Me, Janne, Nelli, Charlotte, Nicholas, Sarah and Sam drove 1200km all the way up to whitsundays for a 3 days sailing trip. The nature was unbelievable. The corals were not as good as on the great barrier reef but it was still good. This nature was so different to everything else. Pine trees on a sand island and then crystal clear water where you could easily spot stingrays, reef sharks and massive turtles. I even got to swim with a turtle. He didn't mind me swimming with me, just cruising in a true aussie way. The trip was awesome apart from a couple of annoying brits (surprise?) and a leaking boat. The driving back was an experience, lots of headless kangaroos on the side of the road and a really weird petrol station in the middle of nowhere where the most ferrel people I ve ever seen cruised with their toyota camrys and wore the fashion from the 80s. I think I was back in Härmä!

Since I came back it has been pretty much uni uni uni. Next friday though, I m going to Brisbane to see and hear the people of IDEO. Cant wait!

Surfing is still good, colder though. Now it is warmer to stay in the water that out of the water. Water temp is still 23 but in the morning it can be is cold as 14 degrees.

I have moved down from using a 7.6 board to 7. Next monday I will try 6.10 board.

Mumsie and dads are flying here within a month and a couple of friends are coming in a bit before that. 17.6 is the last exam date and after that it is all holiday! I will travel to sydney and cairns. I also will show GC for my friends and family.
